On May 31, 1974, then-Malaysia Prime Minister, Tun Razak and China Premier, Zhou Enlai signed the “Joint Communique on the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Malaysia and China”, started a friendly political relationship between the two countries and opening a formal channel for commercial exchanges among the peoples. Since then, the bilateral trade volume between Malaysia and China has climbed from less than US$200 million in 1975 to US$203.6 billion in 2022, witnessing how the wisdom of the sages benefits the well-being of the people.
In 1981, the China Ministry of Commerce and the Council for the Promotion of International Trade held the “China Export Commodities Fair” in Malaysia for the first time. ES International Event Management Sdn Bhd is honoured to be one of the organizers of this event and has since then taken the mission of promoting the Malaysia-China economy and trade as the first Malaysian exhibition company to invest in China. It has been organizing trade exhibitions in both countries for decades and promoting business transactions between the two places to this day. ES founded the “Malaysia International Machinery Fair” in 1989, which also received strong support from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. It has been held for a total of 34 times and has become one of the most representative trade exhibitions in the country.
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and China, the Malaysia- China International Trade Link Association (MACITA) hopes to commemorate this important milestone. This concept coincides with that of ES, and the two parties decided to cooperate to present the “High-tech Forum” to encourage today’s enterprises to further develop based on the paths opened by their pioneer. The forum will be held in conjunction with the ” Malaysia International Machinery Fair 2024″, allowing participants to obtain the latest hardware equipment and software knowledge required for corporate transformation and facing the future in one venue. This is an event carefully planned just for you, and we look forward to your arrival!
With the rapid development of science and technology, the world continues to undergo earth-shaking changes, and the business world is also facing waves of impacts. While entrepreneurs are still arduously advancing on the road of automated manufacturing and social-media marketing, the evolution of AI has shocked the world, forcing people to look for countermeasures. However, as long as enterprises are willing to embrace the changes and actively transform, they can leverage the trends and advance to a higher level. For example, the launch of Tesla electric vehicles in Malaysia indicates that the new energy field is ready to develop. Can you seize the business opportunities?
In order to help SMEs overcome the challenges of the times, the High-tech Forum has carefully planned 5NEW themes: new energy, new technology, new technology, new products and new economy, aiming at the most urgent issues of enterprise transformation. We hope that participants will find new directions and lead their companies towards a brighter future.
